432hz music is strange. It calls to a different part of us than ordinary popular music and it can be baffling and a little hard to gauge to start with. It is chilled, it is thoughtful and it is meditative. It avoids addressing our anger, the way rock music or hip-hop music can. It does not conjure longing or grief the way that country or blues can. You can certainly dance to it though, it makes me move like a snake or in a strolling motion, I dunno, I like it. I build it from my love of Dub music and I have begun introducing Trance and Psybient themes but, really, any music can be played in this tuning. The trick is to let it speak to your body and your heart and let your mind do something else... Yoga, reading, meditating, dancing, fucking, whatever... There is a lot of literature and web based research on this kind of music, there are also amazing and intricate conspiracy theories around the subjugation of music and its standardization but I dont buy any of it, its simply another thing that makes music wonderful and I like to play with it. I hope you enjoy this collection of compositions. I performed this set a few times live this summer and had a great time. It sounds best loud, if you ask me. xxxx Mark
